Camila Mendes proved her devotion to the minimalist mule heel when out and about in New York City on Wednesday, showcasing a metallic pair from Staud with a breezy Guizio look.
Mendes appeared to be wearing the Los Angeles-based brand’s Brigitte shoe style, an open-toe mule made with smooth napa leather. The style presents a minimalist hourglass-shaped toe strap in front to comprise the entirety of the upper. The actress had on a gold metallic leather version of the simplistic silhouette, which is boosted by a 60 mm, or 2.4-inch, kitten heel. The Brigitte style retails for $295.

A fan of mule heels, this outing follows Mendes stepping out on Tuesday in a semi-transparent set which she paired with black capri pants and a long-sleeve black top with corset-like lacing down the front. The barely-there shoe style, capable of transitioning from day to night, has been embraced by a number of celebrities lately as brands across the price spectrum push it forward in a number of iterations.
In coordination with her look, Mendes’ gold shoes picked up the thick gold bangles she wore. These metallic accents accompanied a cream-colored chiffon ensemble from Guizio, including the New York-based brand’s flowy Eda Skirt midi skirt and the Ara top, a fitted garment with a chest cutout, ruffled cap sleeves and a scarf attachment. Rounding out her ensemble, she carried the New York shoulder bag from DeMellier in a brown shade.
Mendes is currently busy promoting the film “Masters of the Universe,” slated for release on Friday, in which she plays the character Teela.
