Queen Letizia put a nearly two-year-old sandal back in rotation Tuesday at Zarzuela Palace in Madrid, receiving representatives from Mamis Digitales in ecru & Other Stories block heels and a red wrap dress from the same label.
The Spanish royal wore & Other Stories’ heeled leather sandals in ecru, a napa leather style with a low block heel she last wore for several events in July 2024. The open-toe sandal has a slim strap across the toes, a narrow diagonal strap that runs across the foot and a delicate ankle strap with a tonal buckle. Letizia used the pale ecru leather as a softer alternative to a matching red shoe — a move she’s repeatedly made with one of her go-to footwear brands, Magrit — with a heel height close to the practical footwear she often chooses for palace audiences and working engagements.
Letizia paired the sandals with & Other Stories’ cotton midi wrap dress in red, cut with a crossover neckline, short wide sleeves and a self-tie belt at the waist, with soft gathers through the bodice and skirt. She finished the look with Gold & Roses’ Shewel triple hoops.

The red and ecru pairing was not new for Letizia. She wore the same sandals in July 2024 with a red Carolina Herrera midi dress when the royal family received Spain’s national soccer team at Zarzuela Palace after its UEFA Euro 2024 win. Earlier that month, she also wore the & Other Stories pair to the Princess of Girona Foundation Awards ceremony on July 10, before returning to them the following week for the Naval Military School ceremony.
Letizia has also been leaning on low, stable heels for official daytime dressing. Last month, she chose red Magrit slingbacks with a square toe and low block heel for the Luis Carandell Parliamentary Journalism Awards, matching the Spanish-made pair to an Adolfo Domínguez dress and Menbur clutch.
Tuesday’s audience was one of three women-focused meetings on Letizia’s Zarzuela Palace schedule. Mamis Digitales is an online community and training platform focused on women’s employability in the digital sector and personal-professional balance; she later received representatives from FEDEPE and the Club of Spanish Women Executives Abroad.
