A beloved and influential Air Jordan from 2010 is about to get its first ever rerelease.
The Michael Jordan fan favorite Air Jordan 6 “Oreo” will make a return later this summer while staying mostly true to the sneaker’s original form. A black nubuck base features white leather overlays on the upper, but the star of the show is white speckling across a black midsole, heel spoiler and tongue. One key difference comes in the form of a new translucent blue outsole, which won’t be prone to the same yellowing as the colorless rubber used 16 years ago.
Sneakerheads looked more fondly on the Air Jordan 6 “Oreo” than many other non-original colorways introduced during the era, and Jordan Brand in turn brought the treatment to the Air Jordan 4 and Air Jordan 5. The Air Jordan 6 also got a “Red Oreo” edition in 2022 followed by a more white-dominant “Reverse Oreo” in 2024.

A revival for the “Oreo” colorway comes as part of a wider resurgence for the Air Jordan 6, the highlight of which thus far has been the release of a once-obscure “Salesman” treatment slightly different from the original “Black/Infrared” colorway. The “White/Infrared” pair will release unchanged later this year for the first time since 2014. Awake NY also has two colorways for the model to follow up on its hit Air Jordan 5 duo from last year.
The Air Jordan 6 “Oreo” will release August 8 through the Snkrs app and select third-party retailers, with pricing set at $215.
