Favorite Daughter, the Los Angeles-based contemporary lifestyle brand, has landed in Music City.
The brand has opened a boutique in Nashville’s 12South neighborhood, expanding its retail footprint to three locations in the U.S.
Launched in 2020 by Erin and Sara Foster in partnership with Centric Brands, Favorite Daughter offers fashion, denim and closet staples.
Favorite Daughter opened its first store in Beverly Hills in 2021 and moved to a larger space in the neighborhood last spring, designed by Joyce Downing Pickens of JDP Interiors. In November, Favorite Daughter opened its second boutique on Madison Avenue in New York, spanning 1,400 square feet. That location used the Beverly Hills flagship design as its inspiration.

The store in Nashville features the brand’s signature chandelier found in both Los Angeles and New York and wooden floors that have an unusual geometric pattern. All three stores use the same neutral color palette accented with warm, wooden tones.
“My family spends a lot of our time in Nashville,” said Erin Foster. “With my husband Simon’s company based there, it felt very natural for us to opening the 12South District. I know we are bringing something unique and special to this growing city. I am so excited to be a part of it.”
Sara Foster added, “Women really connect with what we do, elevated staples, great tailoring, amazing denim, pieces you can live in, so opening on Madison Avenue in the fall and then in Nashville felt like the natural next steps. We want all our boutiques to feel like an elevated, in-person expression of the experience our customer already knows from shopping us online.”
The boutiques carry an assortment across the brand’s categories including suiting, logo product, denim, ready-to-wear, shoes and accessories.
The 12South area, known for shopping and dining, features such boutiques as Draper James, Reformation, Sézane, Madewell, Vuori, LoveShackFancy, Todd Snyder, Buck Mason, Lululemon, Imogene + Willie, Sewing Down South and Alice + Olivia.
Favorite Daughter held an intimate VIP event on Thursday night, attended by such guests as Erin Foster, Sara Foster, David Foster, Katharine McPhee Foster, Simon Tikhman, Mary Lawless Lee, Melissa Joan Hart and Christina Arquette. This will be followed by a community event today, that will include a special performance by the Nashville-based, all-female country music trio Just Jayne. Both events will feature food and beverage by Craig’s Nashville.
